Barbara Osband - President & CEO

From the initial founding of CBRG in 1997, Barbara knew that there was a need in the industry for a company that could serve as more than a provider of testing services to the clinical laboratory. She has consistently put into place elements that support her vision of becoming a valuable resource to our clients by providing them with unrivaled customer service built on a foundation of solid science backed by consistent financial performance. CBRG today benefits from her strategic vision and management style as it remains a profitable independent company, that is able to invest in key areas that allow it to prosper and continue to support it’s customers.

Alberto Correia - Vice President of Operations

Al brings a wealth of related industry experience to CBRG. He joined the company from VelQuest Corp. a provider of GMP compliance software to the pharmaceutical industry. He had presented over 50 workshops and seminars at international conferences and meetings on various compliance topics including electronic record requirements, data acquisition and Part 11. Prior to that he was at Unisyn Technologies, a contract manufacturer of Pre-clinical, Phase 1 and Phase 2 therapeutics, where he was Vice President and General Manager. At Unisyn, he faced similar issues as CBRG’s customers: how to balance immediate operational release requirements, requiring routine testing, with the need to develop new tests and procedures to allow new products and processes to be introduced or optimized for future needs.

Prior to Unisyn, Mr. Correia held several technical and marketing management positions at Zymark Corporation, and was a cofounder of Xydex, a sample handling company that was acquired by Genex. He also held positions in the sales and application laboratory at Waters Associates.

Alberto received a BS in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross.
