Linda Robbie, Ph.D. joined Cambridge Biomedical as Vice President of Scientific Affairs earlier this summer. In her new position, Linda directs all initiatives for Cambridge Biomedical as they relate to science and technology. She serves as lead scientific expert, and interfaces with both clients and internal teams.

Before joining Cambridge Biomedical, Robbie served successfully as Global Senior Director of the Biomarker and Translational Science Laboratory at Q2 Solutions Laboratories, a Quintiles-Quest joint venture, and as Senior Director of the Global Assay  Development Laboratory at Quintiles Laboratories. At Immucor, an in vitro diagnostics biotechnology company, she led a team of scientists engaged in the development and automation of new assays that benefited the Blood Transfusion Industry. She was a research fellow at the University of Aberdeen, and after receiving the British Society for Hematology Research Fellowship, served as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Linda received a Bachelor's degree with honors in Biochemistry from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland and a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Institute of Medical Science, Aberdeen University, Scotland. After earning her Ph.D. she joined Dr. Peter Libby's distinguished research team in the Longwood Medical Research Center at Harvard Medical School.
